Red Wine Vinegar

New Zealand has some of the best grapes and wines in the world, so it stands to reason that some of those stand-outs should find their way into a premium New Zealand wine vinegar.

Ingredients: Red Wine Vinegar

Allergens: Sulphites (naturally occurring in grapes)

6% Acidity. 500mls.

 

 

1 Part  TasteMaker Red Wine Vinegar

2 Parts  Good quality olive oil

Combine and shake. That’s it.

A dressing made from olives and grapes with no nasty additives.

Keep refrigerated and shake before use.

Easy Red Wine Vinaigrette

TasteMaker Onion Marmalade

4 large onions peeled and sliced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups TasteMaker Red Wine Vinegar

2 Parts  Good quality olive oil

Heat the oil in a frypan and sauté the onions over a medium heat for approximately 10 minutes.

Add the Vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard.

Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for approximately 15 minutes to thicken.

Pack into jars and seal once cold. Keep refrigerated and shake before use.

 

Cooking Wine Substitute

Where a recipe calls for wine, substitute with TasteMaker Red Wine Vinegar by diluting one part TasteMaker Red Wine Vinegar with 3 parts water.
